Hi Folks,

I recently received a development kit CD with instructions in the
quickbuild file to make dep then make the included image sources. I ran
into the following issues:

1. make dep is apparently not necessary with the 2.6 kernel. Not really a
problem necessarily...

2. SuSE 10 only (kumbuntu worked)

3. In Kumbuntu I was unable to build the /dev/usb/... device files in the
romfs directory unless I built as root -- in which case the build worked
and booted fine on the 2348-4. However, even building as root I would have
to delete these device files before rebuilding.

Any thoughts on how to address these issues? Does anybody else use SuSE or
kumbuntu?

Thanks,

Andrew
