Gianluca,
The Compact Flash interrupt resistor on the GW2345 is R30. It has been
installed to enable the interrupt on all revisions of the GW2345. Resistors
R111 and R112 serve other purposes and should not be altered.

Subject: [Avila] Move resistor to enable compact flash
Subject: [Avila] Hi Dave,
In order to enable the usage of the compact flash on Avila boards older than
revision F, on August 2005 you wrote:
...
Move resistor R111 (34 ohm, size 0402) to location R112. These resistors are
located on the solderside of the board under the GPIO connector. If you
can't salvage resistor R111 when you remove it you can short across location
R112 or put in any low ohm value (less then 50 ohms).
...
We have a GW2345 Rev.C and experienced a kernel panic because the kernel (on
board flash) is not able to find the root filesystem on the compact flash.
Well, before proceed to move the resistor R111 to position R112 we would
like to
be sure this is the right operation to be done. In location R112 we have a
resistor (location is not empty), so what we have to do, remove the resistor
on
location R112 and anyway substitute it with R111?
Or the fact that we have a resistor in location R112 indicates that our
board
(received from Gateworks on september 2005 when the CF problem was already
known) has been corrected by Gateworks?
Thank you in advance.
Gianluca
