[Avila] Getting started with a 2342

Hi Folks,

I am evaluating the Avila 2342 in connection with a project that I am
working on, but do not have the development kit. Instead I simply
downloaded Snapgear3.1.1 and installed the avila driver shar.
Configuring the shar works fine, but then I run into issues:

1. With 2.4.x and glibc everything builds, but when I attempt to exec
the image I hang (see log attached at the end). I would prefer to run
this configuration as I have a number of binaries compiled for it
already built.

2. With 2.4.x and uCLibc I needed to set my uCLibC/.config file to turn
on FULL_RPC (for portmap/nfs). When I do this I get the same result as
with glibc. (Again see log at end)

3. Building 2.6.x I ran into what appears to be a Fedora Core4 issue
with QT (Unable to find the QT installation). It appears that this
problem is understood and patches exist, but I haven't really explored
it.

Did I miss some steps? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Andrew
