Try the rb2.02 from the GW0.6 BSP... they had to customize some things dealing with memory size.

I am using the Redboot 2.02 from Intel's website and the instructions. I am
able to successfully build and run the redboot image. The problem that I'm
having is that it is not stable. After it boots and DHCPs its IP address, I
try to ping 1000 times. After a period of time and successful pings, I get
the "command abort - illegal memory access?" error. Also, at other times I
get the gdb debug characters coming out the console when I'm performing
simple memory dumps, etc.
Thanks.
