[Avila] problems with hwclock on arm (avila board with ixdp425)

Works fine in 2.6.15-uc0 as distributed on the Gateworks BSP 0.6 as well as the
custom patched 2.6.19 kernel I'm using (and I don't see anything in my patches
about the RTC).
I would look very carefully at the patches at the NLSU2 site here:
http://svn.nslu2-linux.org/svnroot/kernel/trunk/patches/2.6.18/
Of course it could just be broken for 2.6.18 requiring you to find and patch it
yourself.
Basically, if your asking for help with a specific kernel then you should
either be using the last 'supported' kernel by the BSP for your board
(2.6.15-uc0) or the 'latest' kernel in development as there are not many people
willing to help solve problems with anything in between. I haven't heard of
anyone using 2.6.18 here and I don't know what you mean by 'with Debian
distribution' but several of the hardware features of the avila board require
patches to the kernel.
