[Avila] 24v vs 48v

Hi, I'm looking at the Valemount web site, they have both a 24v and a 48v
version of the GW2348. However the Gateworks site lists only one version.
What gives ? Is the '24v' version different in that it can supply more power
to the slots than the 48v version can when diven with a 24v input ?
Is the difference significant or only marginal (e.g. not important unless
long cable runs / high I2R losses are a factor ?).

Can I buy the '24v' version from other resellers ?
