[Avila] Booting GW2348-4 from Compact Flash

Hi,

we recently bought a GW2348-4 with development kit and a 256 MB compact
flash card. When booting the board without the CF card inserted, we can
see redbood loading, and then linux through the serial cable. However,
when we insert the CF card, nothing happens anymore when booting. We
thought that this could be because the new card was empty, so we
formatted it into the e2fs filesystem, and copied the zimage and
ramdisk.gz files to the card. But this didn't help, the board will stil
not boot with a CF card inserted, neither redboot or linux.

Maybe we are still doing something wrong, or maybe there is a problem
with the board. Does somebody has any suggestions to fix this problem?
