Mark,
Regarding GW2345 Switch, I have that email on a different computer, so I
can send that patch to you/list later today.
Regarding CF, the latest vanilla kernel versions have a driver for the
cf slot on the avila platform. Thus if OpenWRT is using a newer kernel,
then you just need to enable "IXP4XX Compact Flash Support" at location
->DeviceDrivers -> Serial ATA (prod) and Parallel ATA (experimental)
-> ATA device support (ATA [=y])
Then you can use fdisk on /dev/sda to create partitions, and then
mount /dev/sda1 or whatever.
