Hi guys,
I'm working on a Avila GW2348-4 and I'm tyring to change the RedBoot boot
script from a booted system (in other words from the user space). To perform
this thing I'm using the fconfig tool and the ee24 driver, both provided in
the page *http://andrzejekiert.ovh.org/software.html.en*
<http://andrzejekiert.ovh.org/software.html.en>, but I have several
problems.
I have compiled without errors the fconfig and the kernel module ee24 but
when I perform an insmod ee24.ko no new mtd device is added to the /dev
directory; this is probably normal but I can't find any information about
how to perform an mknod (which name assign, which are the major and minor
numbers?).
I have also tested the fconfig without the ee24 driver: passing as flash
device name the /dev/flash that I have in the /dev directory but I can't
retrieve any RedBoot prams.
Any one have tryed fconfig + ee24 driver? Do these tools make me able to
change the RedBoot boot script?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Ciao
Andrea
