Gianluca,

This would be a good question for the madwifi mailing list or it
probably has already been answered on the madwifi mailing list thus
would be a good idea to search their archives.

Also, FYI, Ubiquiti has created there own patchset that includes there
own hal against madwifi that fixes things like power setting/reporting.
Thus it may be a good idea to use that instead if you are only using
ubiquiti cards. http://www.ubnt.com/products/radiodriver.php
