[Avila] Ethernet performance problem with OpenWRT

Well, I'm looking for a solution that works with the GW2345 and can do
kernel bridging with the interfaces. The old open source one didn't
work well at all, and the new one gives me incredibly horrible
throughput (the interface comes up in 10mbs, half duplex mode and there
is no way to change it that I've found.). The ixp400 driver with the
IAL is the only one that appears to work correctly with the kendin
switch in the 2345, but I wanted to use the new features in OpenWRT
trunk but I can't seem to get IAL to compile on Kernel 2.6.23.
