[Avila] watchdog on avila (GW-2348)

Chris and Tim,

I do not use any special software that strobes the DS1819 watchdog
device, because in my setup strobing is achieved by configuring GPIO14
as a 4.7 MHz clock (Redboot takes care of configuring the GPIO14 pin).
I also understand that if GPIO14 were not configured properly, and the
watchdog were not strobed, then I would be having the problem you
mentioned (watchdog triggered resets). I just wanted to point out to
the difference between software and hardware strobing methods here.

However, my main concern is that Chris's email states:

> There is also issues with programming the boards through jtag with the

> utility, but no other jtag programmers/debuggers currently work with the

Clearly, Chris stated that JTAG with the R11 resistor loaded works only
in DOS. And just to be safe, if Chris's original statement was
incorrect, I would also like him to confirm that.

Chris: I will be waiting for a reply from you and a clarification to
this topic. My company is having a large number of products comprising
Avila boards built this week, and we will be installing the R11
resistor. Therefore, would like to make sure that we will not be
encountering any unexpected problems.
