These are on J11. According to the manual this is available through the PLD that is connected to I2C. The version of openWRT that was delivered on the board supported using gpioctl to control these pins as gpios 16 and higher. If I try to build openwrt 8.09.2, this doesn't seem to be available. Some research shows the following text output during boot of the delivered openWRT image: gw_i2c_pld 0-0056: gpios 16..23 on a gw_i2c_pld gw_i2c_pld 0-0057: gpios 24..27 on a gw_i2c_pld This seems to come from drivers/gpio/pcf857x.c:264 in 2.6.26.8. This file is only built if CONFIG_GPIO_PCF857X is set. That in turn depends on CONFIG_I2C but also depends on the menu item "GPIO Support" which depends on CONFIG_HAVE_GPIO_LIB. CONFIG_HAVE_GPIO_LIB is set by several platforms but not arm or cambria. Are there patches missing? -Dave Acker -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... The problem is that Redboot does not start if power is applied when an industrial Compact Flash of 2GB (CF Transcend model TS2GCF100I) is on CF socket. I have been using these CF models with older PCB versions of GW2358 (02210059-01) and system can boot with no problem. However, on new PCB boards (02210059-02) redboot starts when power is applied only if no CF is in the socket. I've tried to power up the system with no CF, wait for redboot script fail, enter redboot console, add the CF card and exec the redboot 'reset ' command to boot using CF. Doing these operations, it is possible to start redboot without messages of not IDE cards found, but being not possible to load system image file from CF. And no problem when using other commercial CF cards (like scandisk). In addition, I've also flashed the new PCBs with redboot images included in older PCBs, and the same behaviour still happens. Taking a look to the two boards, there seems that new hardware components have been mounted near the CF socket, please can you tell me if these hardware modifications are related to this problem and which solution can be made? Thanks. Jos? Luis Ferrer Riera
